On 23 May, 2012, the 16th Annual Meeting and National Competition of energy efficiency for 600MW Class Thermal Power Units, which was sponsored by China Electricity Council and China Energy & Chemistry Trade Union, was held in Jinan, Shandong Province. 23 boiler units designed and manufactured by DBC won the awards，including four first prizes.
