According to reports from Zigong Daily on Feb 1, 2011, though the state implemented the rigorous adjustment and control policy in 2010, Zigong’s economy still maintained continuous and rapid growth. The main economic targets were realized. A number of excellent enterprises or companies came forth, which made contribution to income, tax revenue and employment, etc.. The statistics data from Zigong Statistic Bureau, Zigong National Taxation Bureau and Zigong Local Taxation Bureau showed that DBC’s sales revenue was 11 billion and DBC’s amount of tax payment was 738 million in 2010, ranking the first of 2010 Zigong Top 100 Enterprises. DBC won praises from the People’s Government of Zigong.
